The Town of Clarksburg seeks an experienced Municipal Accountant for 24 hours per week. This is a benefitted position including health insurance. The position is Part-time with a 3 day work week that must fall between Monday to Thursday. Hiring rate is $30.50 - $32.85 an hour.
Responsibilities include using our Accounting software, performing various accounting functions, including AR, AP, financial statements, budget administration, reconciliations, payroll, audits, and compliance with state and local reporting requirements, maintenance of financial records, approving financial payments, and controlling expenditures of all town funds.
