Description:
This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits. The Computer Support Specialist will be working with seasoned management and staff, and will assist with daily coverage needs.

All of our software products are supported through our vendors, but the Computer Support Specialist will be the onsite coordinator and troubleshooting for the following software products:
• Microsoft Office
• Point of Sale (Ticketing software)
• Rental Shop inventory scanning
• Retail inventory software
• Reservation software
• Payroll software
• Credit card processing
• Security software
• Lift checking scanners
• Google Cloud Services (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.)
• Carbonite Backups (cloud-based)

Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Oversee daily performance of computer systems
• Generalist providing support for Windows PC-based computers, laptops, tablets and peripherals
• Read technical manuals, confer with users, conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support
• Coordinate software installation and upgrades with our software developers
• Coordinate network support with outside network consultants
• Provide technical assistance to computer system users
• Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities
• May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems
Requirements:
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Must understand basics of installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, network and accessory equipment
• Must have personal computer word processing, spreadsheet, database, and Windows skills
• Must be able to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner
• Strong analysis and problem solving capabilities
• Customer Service Skills
• The ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) medium weights of 10 - 50 pounds
• Requires arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information.
