Responsible for the successful overall operation of the library and library programs, including but not limited to managing library services, overseeing staff, coordinating with patrons, working to improve library facilities, and performing various duties and responsibility relative to library and community service operations.
Minimum Education: Hold a bachelor’s degree.
Minimum Requirements: Complete the Basic Library Techniques special training in Administration, Cataloging, Materials Selection, and Reference with twelve months of hire. Hold or obtain a certificate of Subprofessional Librarianship issued by the Board of Library Commissioners.
All library employees are required to have a CORI check as a prerequisite of employment.
