(Kids’ Place) is to provide an interdisciplinary, cooperative team approach to address the needs of children subjected to violence, as victims or witnesses, and for their non-offending family members. Kids' Place provides a child focused setting and coordinates the combined knowledge of law enforcement, social services, medical, prosecutorial and mental health agencies to ensure an effective response to childhood trauma.
Mental Health Therapist
LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC - Preference: Preferred
We are looking for a full-time, experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team at the BCKP. The therapist at the BCKP will provide evidenced based individual, family, and group psychotherapy services on an outpatient basis to families. They will assess, plan, implement, supervise, and document the clinical mental health services of clients seen at the BCKP. The therapist also provides advocacy, case management and collateral case contact with clients and their non-offending family members. This position works closely with Berkshire County’s multi-disciplinary team members. The BCKP offers great training opportunities and benefits.
BCKP Mental Health Therapist requiring a Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field. All candidates must be 21 years of age or older. Candidates must have excellent clinical, verbal, and writing skills and be prepared to work effectively on a team model but also be able to work on and manage caseload independently. A Masters degree in counseling, social work or related field and licensure in Massachusetts is preferred. Two years post-masters work is preferred.
