We are looking for an enthusiastic sales professional to work with a locally owned and operated environmental consulting firm based in Pittsfield. The successful candidate will fill a leadership position who performs a variety of duties aimed at managing client relationships, developing new business from existing clients, and seeking and developing new business from new clients. This individual is responsible for learning and understanding the services we provide and our technical approach to the work, and for creating long-term, trusting relationships with our clients. The Account/Sales Manager will answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, the individual will liaise and closely coordinate with the company’s Office Administrator and Technical Operations Manager to schedule work, ensure competent technical services, and improve the entire customer experience. Communication regarding schedules, deliverables, and project-specific needs is critical to effective implementation. This position requires careful coordination with the President on all related matters. Ideally, the incumbent will know how to meet ambitious individual and company-wide sales quotas while keeping clients satisfied and engaged with our services in the long-run. This position will require local travel.

The preferred candidate should have the ability to market and sell to a broad range of clients (i.e. commercial/industrial, insurance companies, construction, developers, municipalities, etc.). Candidate should possess skills to interface with clients and to assist in the preparation of work scopes and proposals for all service provided by Eco-Genesis Corp.

Specialty/Technical Field Experience:
The basic minimum qualifications for the Account/Sales Manager includes a bachelor’s degree in a related major, three to five years of experience in a technical sales leadership position. A minimum of three to five years of experience in the environmental field is required. Five years of specialty field experience in the asbestos, lead paint, hazardous materials, hazardous waste, environmental site assessment (Phase I & II), MCP/LSP services, site remediation, PCBs in building materials, indoor air quality, mold testing, industrial hygiene, and/or pre-renovation/demolition fields is preferred.
