BFAIR is seeking full-time habilitation specialist to join our team in our Day Habilitation program located in North Adams. The Habilitation Specialist is a direct care role in our day program.
*Working with anywhere from 1 to 4 members on a daily basis
*Providing personal care
*Assisting with goal and objective implementation
*Data collection and monthly notes.
*Developing a positive rapport/relationship with the individuals supported to encourage and foster their own personal growth, individual control, and emotional strength.
All applicants must:
*Be 18 years of age or older
*Have a high school diploma or GED
*Possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle
*Meet standards outlined in Safe Driver Policy
BFAIR provides full orientation and training. Employees must maintain certifications in First Aid and CPR, Safe Techniques to Avoid Restraint and Training (START), and BFAIR Human Rights Training. 10 hours professional development annually.
