HR Business Analyst

Location: 99 North St, Pittsfield, MA
Responsible for a wide variety of human capital analytics and reporting to support corporate initiatives and strategies. Analyze, identify trends, and report on various human capital data, including but not limited to: staffing, salary and benefits expense, equity grant activity and cost, talent analytics, turnover cost and M&A activity to provide management with data for ongoing business decisions and budget projections.
Provide human capital analytics and reporting based on business leader’s needs and to support strategic objectives and budget. Work closely with HR business partners to develop metrics and consistent reporting format for human capital costs and initiatives to ensure leaders receive timely access to human capital data to aid in business decisions. Work with HR leadership to create and maintain an HR Dashboard of metrics from a variety of systems.
Manage and maintain the budgeting process; analyze and monitor budget to actual and provide ongoing updates for projections. Work closely with business partners and Finance to gather data for providing most current budget and reporting information for all human capital expenses; i.e. new hire requests and salary increases to budget; bonus and equity expense to actual; benefit expense; etc. Provide analytic support to HR Manager for assessing costs and options for review and renewal of all employee benefit programs.
Administer stock grant program to ensure accurate data for business decisions, required regulatory reporting, appropriate coordination with finance division and ongoing analysis of expense. Prepare and coordinate executive compensation proxy reporting in accordance with regulations and established time table. Work closely with bank counsel for interpretation of current reporting requirements.
Establish and maintain solid relationships with IT and Finance partners to develop and ensure efficient interfacing and synergy of HR related systems and continually improve service to internal and external customers. Streamline and improve effectiveness of gathering data and report writing from a variety of systems. Ensure HR data quality. Play lead role in any HR projects, upgrades, and systems conversions.
Administer Performance Management process, and system data. Provide system training, documentation, and phone support as needed,
Compile annual data for a variety of compensation surveys. Distribute survey results and assist with review.
Provide a variety of support to the HR Division as needed.
Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one’s duties.
AS/BA in Business with concentration in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
Experience in finance or accounting with focus on financial analysis
Database and systems experience
HR experience a plus
Skills & Knowledge:
Proficient computer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point
Self-starter that can work independently
Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
High level of systems skills including administration and report writing
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Ability to balance changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
