Hamilton Telecommunications is a diversified communications and technology services provider based in Aurora, Nebraska. The company was incorporated in 1901 as a local telephone cooperative serving Hamilton County in central Nebraska. Today, the company is privately held and has grown to encompass eight primary company divisions that operate on a local, regional and national basis employing over 600 people.
Hamilton provides telecommunications relay services for people who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech disabled (a 24 x 7 operation) under contract with the Public Utility Commissions in the states of New Mexico, Idaho, Louisiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Maine, Wyoming, Iowa, Montana, Georgia, Kansas, Arizona, Maryland, Massachusetts as well as, District of Columbia, Island of Saipan and Virgin Islands.
