MCLA is seeking a part time, temporary Science and Robotics Camp Counselor to greet new arrivals to activities, introduce them to other participants, explain facility rules, and encourage participation. Organize, lead, and promote camp activities. Ensure campers safety by enforcing rules and regulations and maintaining discipline. Assist with clean up.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is highly organized, is a strong communicator, a strong team member and team leader, creative, responsible, and can create an atmosphere of having fun while learning. Must enjoy working with children and being committed to each camper having a fun and engaging experience. Must be able to pass a background check and having a valid driver's license is preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age. This is a seasonal position with the possibility of reappointment in future years.
This position runs July 23, 2018 through July 27, 2018.
