The Medical Assistant’s primary responsibility is to assist in the delivery of health care and patient care management for the primary care practice. This will include actively participating and supporting the primary care teams with these efforts. The medical Assistant will work with and receive supervision from the practice manager, physicians, nurse practitioners. Medical Assistant will participate in all aspects of hands on patient care along with required clerical work. This position is 4 days week with rotating Saturday mornings schedule.
The CNA responsibility's will be rooming patients following established protocols. Perform EKG's and assist physicians with a variety of tasks. Work closely with Medical Assistant's in a team based atmosphere.
Must be certified. Prefer experience working within an Electronic Medical Record. For MA Phlebotomy skills are preferred but willing to train. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to multi-task and flexibility is a must. Superior customer service skills are essential.
