High School or Equivalent
Associates Degree - Preference: Preferred
Job Goal: To Provide the best educational experience for the schools students.
Supervision: Reports to the Building Principal.
1. Acts as school receptionist.
2. Organizes and maintains school files.
3. Maintains school administrative and student records.
4. Stamps, sorts, and distributes mail.
5. Sorts incoming inter-office mail.
7. Book keeping as needed
8. Operate standard office machines and equipment related to clerical and typing assignments including computer, typewriter, calculator, copier, and postage and fax machines.
9. Orders and maintains supplies as needed.
10. Arranges for use of facilities.
11. Any other related duties as assigned by Administration.
12. Proficient or working knowledge of PowerSchool.
Other pertinent information: School year only, with one week before the start of the school year and one week after the end of the school year. 6 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Special Knowledge/Abilities: Knowledge of computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerSchool, District e-mail); knowledge of high level of correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary; knowledge of strong interpersonal skills, including tact, patience, courtesy, and confidentiality; working knowledge of the District and location of schools and staff members.

Must have High School Diploma or its equivalent (i.e. G.E.D), Associates degree preferred. Applicant should possess strong technology, written and verbal communication skills. Experience in the field of education or an office preferred.
Physical Requirements: The position requires a moderate amount of walking, standing, sitting and climbing stairs and step stool whenever necessary. Activities also include moderate physical exertion in body movement such as reaching, bending, twisting, grasping, pushing, and pulling of objects. The position requires lifting objects of 20 pounds on a frequent basis, and over 40 pounds occasionally. There is a frequent requirement of fine manipulation associated with the required use of a computer, typewriter, keyboard, calculator, and other business machines.
Environmental Conditions: The applicant is required to work indoors. The regular chemical solvents are toners and cleaning fluids.
