The Town of Lanesborough is seeking a qualified candidate to serve in the part-time position of Director of the Lanesborough Public Library. Lanesborough is a small town in the heart of the Berkshires with an avid and dedicated community of readers.
The Director will be responsible for the management and operation of library services including collection, development and personnel management while working closely with the Library Board of Trustees as advisor and participant in creating a budget, policy and goals for development.
Minimum qualifications include a BA degree, computer skills, quality customer service and an appreciation of the purposes and functions of the public library. The position is 15 to 18 hours per week including some Saturdays. Compensation begins at $18.00/hour.
