Job Purpose:

Actively participate in and foster the ACB Culture of excellence while supporting the Bank’s strategic initiatives.

Provide superior loan processing and servicing support to the Commercial Lending Department and coordinate the effective operations of the Consumer Loan functions. Uphold ACB’s well established policy and operating procedures to maintain the ACB’s loan portfolio and service to all loan customers.

Consistently and effectively manage behavior within ACB’s established customer service standards and core values while adhering to all established Bank Policy and procedures.

Critical Drivers:

ü  Efficiency in HMDA reporting of commercial loans

ü  Accurate and timely processing of lending documentation for commercial loans and consumer loans

ü  Underwrite consumer loans and small business loans up to $75,000

ü  Enter loan data into the various systems for commercial loans

ü  Ensure all internal and external customers’ needs are met

Duties and Precise Tasks:

Commit to and live by a no excuses environment whereby all employees are held 100% accountable for behaviors, actions, performance & attitudes.

Adhere to all ACB policies and procedures.

Prepares custom reports using Excel, Access and Crystal Reports.

Manages and submission of compliance reports including HMDA, 1071 small business loan, dwelling secured loans, and other specific loan required reporting for the commercial loan department.

Performs reviews of commercial real estate appraisals.

Prepare and review commercial loan closing packages before loan closings.

Act as liaison with borrower’s counsel for commercial loan closing, funding, and preparation for loan closings.

Perform consumer loan processing functions including, but not limited to, data entry, filing, document preparation, funding, and quality assurance.

Coordinate all consumer loan request packages from all branch locations and ACB website.

Underwrite and approve consumer loans and small business loans within lending authority granted.

Ensure vehicle titles, UCC’s and other collateral are properly filed.

Prepares and submits Loan Officer Committee packages for weekly meetings

Provides support for audit preparation.

Performs loan processor duties as needed.

Complies with all Bank policies and procedures.

Complies with Federal and State regulations.

Adhere to telephone and communication standards when interacting with customers/employees.

Perform additional duties as requested.

Human Relations/Emotional/Mental Demands:

Contact with existing/potential customers and employees through telephones, correspondence or personally interact with in all areas. Confidentiality of potential and existing client and employee information requires professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum of high school diploma; prefer associate’s degree in finance
  • Knowledge of banking regulations, laws and the Bank’s policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of commercial lending operations
  • Consumer loan underwriting experience
  • Knowledge of computer software, hardware, word processing and spreadsheets
  • Must possess the ability to read, write and speak fluently in the English language, organization and customer service skills with both internal and external customers
  • Mathematical skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
