Description:

Laurin Publishing Company is currently seeking a part-time receptionist.

Job functions include:

  • Effectively operates multi-line telephone system to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information and taking accurate messages.
  • Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
  • Collect, sort, log, distribute, or prepare incoming and outgoing mail, messages, or courier deliveries.
  • Provides general office support with a variety of clerical duties as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office and other software programs. Demonstrated keyboarding skills required.

  • 20-25 hours per week
