Your talent will be put to a world-class test as you participate in electrical requirements analysis and definition, functional analysis, performance analysis (e.g. timing, power, etc.), design, integration and verification of electrical components, equipment and systems. The Mid-Level Module Design / FPGA Design Electrical Engineer will support the design, development and test of VME modules as well as subsystem-level designs at GDMS that are required to support our various customers’ missions.

What you bring to the table:
•A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
•Solid use of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories
•Proven knowledge of electrical engineering processes and design tools
•Ability to travel as needed
What sets you apart:
•Strong VHDL coding proficiency (Required)
•Familiar with the Xilinx FPGA workflow (Vivado is preferred, but not required)
•Familiar with test bench development and simulation (advanced verification techniques not required, but would be a benefit)
•Familiar with static timing concepts and clock domain crossing techniques (Required)
•Able to work in teams (Required)
•Strong Communications Skills (Required)
•Familiarity with the Trident program (Desirable)
•Requirements development, verification and documentation (Desirable)
•FPGA board design (configuration, XDC constraints, clock and reset handling) (Desirable)
•Embedded design (ARM processors, AXI, SDK, basic software programing) (Desirable)

Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.
