Nurse Supervisor 3pm-11pm
To Commensurate With Experience
High School or Equivalent
Full Time 3pm - 11pm Weekend and/or On-Call Rotation
Ability to supervise staff, maintain good working relationships among personnel and delegate as needed.
Assist DON in direct day to day nursing activities in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the facility.
Comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles and theory.
Knowledge of DPH and Joint Commission regulations.
Must accept on-call on a rotating basis.
Must demonstrate patience, tact and courtesy in dealing with residents, employees and visitors.
Special interest in geriatric and rehabilitative nursing.
2-3 Years experience as a licensed nurse in long term care required.
Must be currently registered with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Must be able to move, stand/walk up to 6 hours per 8 hour shift.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs intermittently throughout a shift, lift over 100 lbs with assistance and or mechanical aid, push/pull 100 lbs without assistance, roll a patient up to 200 lbs from side to side with assistance.
Must be able to read, write and speak English in an understandable manner.
