| The director of development is part of a dynamic and responsive team of ten colleagues who work cooperatively on all aspects of Corporate Development. Reporting to the vice president of Corporate Development, the director of development guides the SVHC Foundation in a robust calendar of mission-driven fundraising activities. Responsibilities include: •Manage Foundation staff of two senior gift officers, financial operations manager •Coordinate annual giving programs and the development and implementation of new donor programs •Assist in development of Capital Campaign strategy and implementation •Develop cultivation, solicitation, and acknowledgement strategies for targeted prospects, donors, funding, and community organizations •Develop and implement marketing strategies for planned gifts •Partner in the development and execution of Foundation events •Manage and engage Foundation Board, Regional Advisory Boards and other high-level volunteers to increase participation, giving, and awareness, as needed •Knowledge Raiser’s Edge fundraising system preferred but not required Details This opportunity is full time and in person. Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday. Some evenings and weekends are required for board meetings and other functions. | |
