BFAIR has rewarding job openings for Community Living Support Staff.  Join a premier human service organization and help change the lives of individuals served.   Support individuals within the ABI/MFP program who live in their own home, assisting with personal care, activities of daily living, individual support, companionship, homemaker, and community habilitation.  

Duties include:

  • Develop rapport with individuals supported and foster their personal growth
  • Monitor and report consumer’s progress, challenges and status
  • Work individually with any program participants, which may include assistance/supervision with mobility, recreational activities or other needs

Skills/Abilities:

  • Patience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Passion for helping others

Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid US driver's license and ready access to a vehicle
  • HS Diploma/GED or work/life experience providing care
  • Complete all initial background checks

High School diploma/GED required. Must be a home health aide/certificate of nurse’s aide/or complete 60 hours of personal care training. Ability to complete all initial and ongoing background checks including but not limited to: CORI, SORI, Fingerprinting, LEIE, driving record, E-verify, Physical, PPD and licensing and/or certification checks (i.e. nursing). Valid US driver’s license and ready access to a vehicle.
