Temporary utility workers are needed for assignments and special events in Dining Services. Variable work schedules include day, evening, weekend and holiday hours based on department needs.

Review of resumes will begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled.


Responsibilities

  • Food preparation, custodial duties, and small event set-ups for meeting and breaks
  • Prepare hot and cold food items for some special events
  • Assist in maintaining and cleaning all kitchen and service areas

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work independently, stand for prolonged periods of time, and handle heavy material involving lifting and bending and complete duties as assigned
  • Must be enthusiastic, energetic and possess strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge and ability to serve guests with the highest level of professional service is required
  • Ability to relate to customers and staff in a professional manner is essential
  • Prior food service experience is preferred
