The college’s sports information group, which is part of the Office of Communications, promotes athletics at Williams through its varsity sports website http://ephsports.williams.edu/, its social media presence, and media outreach.
 
A Temporary Administrative Assistant is needed 20 hours per week to perform administrative tasks in order to support the Director of Sports Information, including writing and posting web content. Typical working hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm with some flexibility. 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience; experience in collegiate sports preferred. 
  • 2+ years of experience preferred.
  • Excellent editing/writing/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse clientele 
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team player in a collaborative environment 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible, resourceful, and organized in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent computer skills (PC and Mac), including experience with Microsoft Office and Wordpress,
  • comfortable learning new programs

Temporary work is subject to the needs of the College, and as such, may change at any time. Pay rates start at $17/hour, commensurate with experience. Resumes will be reviewed on an on-going basis. Some role responsibilities can be performed remotely from locations in MA or CT, hybrid working arrangements can be considered.
