BFYMCA is currently looking to fill part-time positions in Health and Wellness, Aquatics, and Membership and Sales.
Group Fitness Class Instructors:
Will lead group classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that welcomes all skills and fitness levels. Instructors will be responsible for effectively building community within classes and modifying classes as needed to meet varied health, ability and community needs. All levels of experience and modalities will be considered for part time employment.
Lifeguard: Join our team of professional lifeguards who provide a fun, safe, and inviting atmosphere for our members and guests of all ages. Lifeguard certification preferred but willing to train. Please note on application if you are certified or will need to be certified.
Member Service Associate: Complete facility opening procedures, including daily tasks required to set up Welcome Center staff for the day. Complete all procedures related to the enrollment or validation of members and program participants, registering for programs, answering telephone and responding to member questions.
Member Service Associate shifts available:
Pittsfield Branch- Weekdays 3:00-9PM and Weekends 6AM-12:15PM and 12:15-9PM
Northern Berkshire Branch: 8AM-12PM or 12-4PM

Able to adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
Understands the mission of the YMCA.
MUST BE Dependable and reliable.
Minimum high school degree.
1-2 years customer service experience and other relatable experience based on position needs.
