The Parts Sales Representative supports the Parts Sales Manager in fielding new inquiries and interacting with existing clients in support of parts and product install sales to government agencies, domestically and internationally. Responsibilities include providing technical specifications and quotations, competitive justifications and follow-up; as necessary. Primary customer communication is via email and phone, with 2 - 3 trade shows and customer demonstrations annually along with routine customer visits to Lenco's primary manufacturing facility in Pittsfield, MA. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Field incoming leads from US Government and Military agencies; domestically and internationally • Provide technical specifications and price quotations • Communicate with Production to request Lenco built parts as needed • Satisfy and resolve customer requests and complaints • Update customer on status of orders • Ensure smooth flow of daily paperwork • Complete all departmental documentation within internal systems • Undertake relevant training and development as required • Participate in 2 - 3 Trade Shows annually when they resume (post-COVID restrictions) ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Follow up on returns and credits requests • Adhere to and carry out existing work practices, procedures and policies • Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate • Understand and comply with safety and environmental policies • Other duties as assigned | |

EXPERIENCE: • Proficient in MS Office preferred • Inventory control experience helpful • Strong Computer Skills • Automotive industry knowledge preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: • Excellent listening skills • Excellent written communication skills • Ability to provide clear, concise, and accurate instructions • Ability to conduct research and interpret engineering drawings • Ability to collaborate interdepartmentally • Ability to multitask and manage multiple assignments accurately and efficiently • Follow safety and materials policies and procedures • Attention to detail |
