Location:  Mercer Administration Center - Human Resources Department

40 hours per week (Monday - Friday), 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

DUTIES:  This position is responsible for performing a wide range of office administration duties, which support the Director of Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion.  These functions include, providing for the security of confidential information forwarded to and disseminated from the Director of Human Resources; responding to requests for information either written or verbal; preparing legal documents, contracts, and letters as requested, and editing for grammar and factual accuracy; preparing personnel reports for school committee meetings; providing reports and data as requested; and performing all appropriate tasks, responsibilities, and duties as directed by the Director of Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to prepare written communications in standard business format, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and to provide information by answering questions and responding to requests.  Candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.  Candidate must have the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); experience creating and using databases, with the ability to learn new programs

Prior experience in Human Resources preferred

Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
