Board Certified Behavior Analyst/Licensed Applied Behavioral Analyst (BCBA/LABA)
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst is a clinical position within UCP of Western Massachusetts that reports to the UCP Assistant Director of Autism Services. This position is responsible for behavior assessments (following best practices of ABA) and the overall training/supervision of the paraprofessional staff within the autism EI program and will provide training to parents of children involved in the program.
BCBA Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor paraprofessional staff in the Early Intervention ABA program.
- Train parents of children in the Early Intervention Autism Specialty Service Provider program.
- Conduct functional assessments, develop behavior plans, and implement strategies for behavior management.
- Meet with supervised staff for ongoing support and review behavior plans.
- Stay updated with current research and best practices in the field.
- Address the ethnic, cultural, and linguistic needs of families served.
- Maintain a minimum of 70% weekly productivity and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
- Adhere to organizational policies, collaborate with various stakeholders, and represent UCP positively in the community.
