  • T&M Auto is looking to hire a qualified individual to join our team.  We are looking for an individual with exceptional customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, computer and financial software experience [Quickbooks preferred], strong team skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Customer service/ Office assistant Job Duties:

  • Determine automotive problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms; clarifying description of problems; checking T&M vehicle maintenance records; examining service schedules.
  • Schedules appointments for customers based on appropriate service needs and customer availability. Must be able to balance customer needs with shop/ technician availability.
  • Prepares repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.
  • Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns; arranging towing and temporary transportation.
  • Maintains automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping duties, to include entering vendor bills and credits. Creation of customer invoices.
  • Operation of digital cash register system, including end of day close out.
