HIGH SCHOOL PARAPROFESSIONAL

Hoosac Valley Regional School District is seeking paraprofessionals to assist a certified teacher in a team approach to the education of students.

Job Responsibilities:   Perform all tasks necessary for the efficient functioning of the classroom and the school;  follow classroom routine and understand role within the classroom structure;  appropriately assist students in all areas as directed; demonstrate appropriate skills and judgment when assisting students;  demonstrate appropriate behavior management skills; participate in in-service training;  ability to maintain professional congenial attitude mandatory.

Requirements:    High School Diploma required;  Must complete a CORI and fingerprint check prior to employment;  At least one year of successful experience working with children.
