POSITION SUMMARY:

The Kripalu Shop Sales Associate provides excellent customer service and handles all sales transactions of product in the Kripalu Shop and Cafe.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Greet guests in a welcoming manner and assist them, as needed, throughout their visit to the Kripalu Shop
  • Handle sales and money transactions at point of sale using our Hospitality Software.
  • In collaboration with all departments at Kripalu, create a seamless experience for all guests acting as a liaison with other departments as needed and providing excellent customer service.
  • Support team in maintaining shop appearance and safety.
  • Restock inventory as needed.
  • Cafe duties: including, brewing and grinding of coffee.
  • Assist in the resolution of guest concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent customer and client service skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Organized and very detail oriented.
  • Time management and multi-tasking.
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and politeness both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment.
  • Capable of working as a team player.
  • Knowledge of products carried in Kripalu Shop a plus!
  • Qualified candidates must be available to work weekends and some holiday hours.

We are recommending all employees who work onsite at Kripalu be vaccinated against Covid. For those who choose not to obtain this vaccination, we will be providing periodic testing onsite and potentially recommend additional safety precautions. We will inquire about vaccination status upon date of hire.
