Elizabeth Freeman Center (EFC) seeks a passionate counselor/advocate to work in its Pittsfield office to provide counseling and advocacy for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. This position includes overseeing the Housing Stabilization Program providing transitional housing with strategic economic and housing advocacy for its participants.

Elizabeth Freeman Center (EFC) seeks a passionate, responsible, and reliable physical response counselor/advocate to support people at the hospitals or police stations in the county after an assault and to provide support during emergency concerns at EFC’s emergency shelter or on hotline.  Evening and weekend shifts.

COURT ADVOCATE
Primarily North Adams

Elizabeth Freeman Center (EFC) seeks an advocate to provide support, advocacy, and crisis response for survivors of domestic and sexual violence in county courts through our SAFEPLAN Program.  This position is primarily based in Northern Berkshire District Court with some coverage in Central Berkshire and other courts as needed.

SHELTER RELIEF STAFF

Elizabeth Freeman Center (EFC) seeks energetic, passionate people to serve as overnight shelter staff and relief shelter staff to fill in for staff absences, often on short notice. The overnight and relief staff work as part of the shelter team to provide comprehensive services to families living in emergency shelter due to domestic violence.
