Description:
Make a Difference Every Day Join our team and play a vital role in delivering nutritious meals to the community. Hours: Monday thru Friday from 8:00 to 1:00 What You’ll Do Set up and operate the automatic tray sealing machine for daily meal service Prepare and organize workstations with necessary supplies (bags, labels, meal stickers) Verify kitchen production reports in collaboration with the Nutrition Clerk Accurately count, sort, and pack meals for distribution and delivery routes Assemble daily meal bags, including bread, milk, and desserts Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed Monitor and maintain meal packing equipment Follow all sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards Receive and organize food and supply deliveries Maintain punctual attendance and adhere to agency policies Support additional duties as assigned What You Bring Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practices Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Reliability and a strong work ethic Preferred: ServSafe or food handler certification (or willingness to obtain) Why Join Us?
