Basically, you&rsquo;ll test your skill and knowledge each and every day by working with the best of the best.<br /><br /><br /><br />What you&rsquo;ll experience:<br />Technologies that aren&rsquo;t just top-notch, they&rsquo;re often top-secret<br />A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what&rsquo;s next<br />Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as it&rsquo;s discovered<br />What you bring to the table:<br />A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical engineering, a related specialized area or field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience<br />Fully capable with solid modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings<br />Fully proficient with cabling tools (MEntor /Capital Harness experience preferred) to create cable harness and stand-alone cable drawings&nbsp;<br />Fully proficient with technical standards, manufacturing/fabrication methods, and government/industry standards<br />Gather all wire and cable construction, routing, and COORD requirements at a programmatic level<br />Define processes for design tools and design best practices to implement cabling designs<br />Define material and deliverables for the entire cable plant on a program<br />Prepare design review material to be presented both internally and externally (to the customer)<br />Interface directly with other subcontractors on the program to support proving inputs and review comments to shared interfaces and data<br />Provide support to the Manufacturing organization during the build cycle<br />Provide support to the Field Engineering organization during the installation cycle<br />What sets you apart:<br />Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task<br />Ability to quickly grasp and apply new information<br />Effectively handle and lead complex assignments<br />Ability to write technical papers and proposals</p>
Requirements:
<p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.<br /><br />CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:<br />Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.</p>
