Bella Baby Photography is a leading newborn and family photography company specializing in hospital and lifestyle photography across the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut regions. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and highly organized HR Assistant to support our people operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring our employees, photographers, and leadership team are supported through clear processes, compliance, and thoughtful communication.

Position Overview

The HR Assistant will support day-to-day HR operations. This is a hybrid position, with some days working remotely and other days required to be in person, based on business needs.

  • Salary: $50,000 annually

  • Schedule: Full-time

  • Location: Hybrid (remote + in-person as required)

  • Benefits: Health insurance available after 90 days

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to follow and maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding

  • Create and manage accounts for new photographers

  • Maintain and organize employee records and documentation

  • Support payroll, timekeeping, and HR compliance processes

  • Approve and track timesheets

  • Help manage HR workflows and tracking systems

  • Support ongoing policy review within credentialing programs
