Description:

Berkshire Health Systems is seeking a Recovery Specialist II to join our team!

The Recovery Specialist II functions in a complimentary or assistive role to all members of the healthcare team and carries out individual duties in accordance with policies and procedures of Berkshire Medical Center. The Recovery Specialist II oversees and accompanies clients in various program activities to ensure conformance with schedules, milieu standards, program activities and policies. The Recovery Specialist II will complete required paperwork and conduct small and large therapy sessions under the supervision of the Senior Clinician. The Recovery Specialist II will assist the Recovery Specialist I role when needed.

Requirements:
  • Experience:
    • A year of substance use treatment experience in a mental health or substance use environment is preferred.  Other relevant experience will be considered.
  • Education and Training:
    • An Associate’s Degree in Health and Human Service or closely related field is required, a Bachelors Degree is preferred.
  • License, Certification & Registration:
    • CPR within three months of hire
    • ACE - Addiction Counselor Education (ACE) or Associates Degree required.
