Description: | 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available, including 2nd and 3rd shift differentials! Job Summary Provides direct care to families in the program. Maintains program safety and ensures residents understand program requirements. Provides support to all families with activities of daily living and program navigation. Essential Job Functions
- Adheres to all applicable state and federal regulations; ensures compliance with the organization’s policies and procedures, code of conduct, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- In conjunction with Program Manager, coordinates intake interviews.
- Monitors daily program activities and reports all concerns to Program Manager.
- Follows and monitors medication observation policy for resident medication regimens.
- Works with case management and child services staff to manage and file records on a timely basis.
- Attends staff meetings and meets with supervisor weekly.
- Conducts drug screening and performs record keeping, as needed.
- Participates in group facilitation and educational training.
- Reports and documents any incidents, accidents, injuries, or medication errors to supervisor according to agency policy.
- Completes internal incident reports, as needed.
- Participates in all relevant staff meetings, treatment team meetings, scheduled supervision, and inter-agency meetings.
- Conducts daily program safety checks in accordance with policy.
Qualifications, Experience and Education - High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Basic knowledge and or experience in substance use disorders and mental health diagnoses preferred. Family services experience preferred.
- Prior human services and/or direct care experience preferred.
- CPR certification or ability to obtain certification within first 3 months of employment.
