Description:

BFAIR is seeking a Temporary Full-Time employment counselor to join our team in our programs located in North Adams.

Responsibilities include:

*Finding competitive employment opportunities for individuals so that they may grow and meet personal and professional goals, earn a living wage, and experience all of the benefits associated with employment. Complete vocational evaluations and skills training in on the job settings.
*Provide initial and ongoing supports for individuals to maintain competitive employment.
*Develop and maintain relationships with employers and funding sources

Hours: Monday 7:45-3:45 Tuesday-Friday 7:45-3:15

Requirements:

All applicants must:

*Be 18 years of age or older
*Have a high school diploma or GED
*Possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle
*Meet standards outlined in Safe Driver Policy

Training Requirements:

BFAIR provides full orientation and training. Employees must maintain certifications in First Aid and CPR, Safe Techniques to Avoid Restraint and Training (START), and BFAIR Human Rights Training. 10 hours professional development annually.
