Fairview Hospital is hiring a Per Diem Staff Nurse to join their CCU Team!

Responsibilities include:

  • Utilize appropriate patient care protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of the patient population served.
  • Coordinate care in collaboration with the patient, family, nurses, peers, physicians and allied health care providers.
  • Assume responsibility for the outcome of nursing care delivered.

Requirements:
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience preferred.
  • Education and Training:
    • Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
  • License, Certification & Registration:
    • RN License - Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to function independently under general guidance of the Director and follows the guidelines and protocols and/or policies and protocols specific to each unit. Duties require independent action and judgment. Utilizes time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem solving in providing care. Must possess and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Must maintain emotional stability in emergency settings.
  • Other Addendum(s) Requirements
    • Minimum 2 years experience in CCU or ICU preferred.
    • CPR current BLS required.
    • IV Qualifications required.
    • ACLS required within one year of hire.
    • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within one year of hire.
