Description: | Jacob’s Pillow seeks a Seasonal Housekeeping Associate to join the Facilities Department and work closely with/report directly to the Housekeeping & Hospitality Coordinator. This position is entrusted with cleaning, stocking, and hospitality services for 120 guest rooms, office spaces, public restrooms, studios, etc. on the Jacob’s Pillow campus. RESPONSIBILITIES - Provides cleaning service for accommodations, all public restrooms, office spaces, studios, etc.
- Assists Housekeeping & Hospitality Coordinator with stock and reordering of all household and cleaning supplies.
- Performs light grocery shopping for guests or arranges catering services.
- Launders or schedules laundry services with vendors for all linens.
- Works with the Facilities department to request repairs, supplies, maintenance, and trash removal.
- Liaises with Programming on the schedule of accommodations and special needs.
- Assists Housekeeping & Hospitality Coordinator with key inventory for accommodations.
- Assists Housekeeping & Hospitality Coordinator with inventory of all household and office furniture and budgets and plans for annual replacements, as needed.
- Aids in the general upkeep of the Pillow campus by fulfilling needs, budgeting to meet needs, or soliciting help to fulfill needs.

| Requirements: | REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum 1 year of experience in the hotel industry, cleaning services, or related field.
- Ability to work independently and on a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to be helpful and adjust priorities at a moment's notice.
- Valid Driver’s License.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONs - Prior event coordination, catering, restaurant, and/or hotel experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills (Google Suite).
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to anticipate complications and solve problems efficiently.
WORKING CONDITIONS - Working regularly in wooded areas with exposure to native wildlife, including, but not limited to, rodents, ticks, and mosquitos.
- Working regularly outdoors in all weather conditions, including inclement weather.
- Working a 5-day work week, including late evenings and weekends.
- Moving equipment up to 50 lbs alone or with assistance.
- Moving through and between multiple locations throughout the entire campus.
- Remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Working at heights above 6 feet.
- Ascending and descending straight and step ladders.
- Operating push-around or drivable person lifts, including at heights.
