We are a busy full service frame shop. The right candidate should have an eye for color/style and the ability to work with customers to choose mats/frames for their artwork. You will learn all aspects of custom framing. From design to completion. There is little down time since our framers will bounce between helping customers and hands-on framing including cutting mats, chopping and joining frames. -Able to use basic hand tools -Able to measure accurately to the 1/16" -Able to stand 6-7 hours/day -Basic computer skills/credit card processing -A general knowledge or interest in art -The ability to handle artwork in a respectful and thoughtful way -A willingness to work Saturdays -A neat and clean appearance This is a part time position 3-4 days per week with potential for more.
