Maintenance Technician I North Adams, MA Temp-to-Hire $20.00-$23.00 per hour Our client is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician I to join their property maintenance team. This Temp-to-Hire opportunity is ideal for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys a variety of hands-on work in a residential community. Responsibilities Prepare vacant apartments for new residents Complete general building repairs and preventative maintenance Perform light plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and caulking repairs Assist with appliance installation and repairs Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of buildings and grounds Complete trash removal, pressure washing, and seasonal snow removal Inspect vacant units and complete punch-list items to ensure move-in readiness Respond to maintenance requests and assist with special projects Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies Qualifications At least 1 year of maintenance, facilities, or property maintenance experience Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable transportation Ability to work both indoors and outdoors and perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and bending Must be able to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Some evenings and weekends as needed On-call responsibilities required This is an excellent Temp-to-Hire opportunity!
