Description: | DME Technician/Driver- Part Time Schedule 10 hours weekdays Location: 208 West Street Pittsfield, MA, 01201
We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious and detail-oriented DME Technician/Driver to join the UCP team in Pittsfield, MA. The ideal candidate will ready refurbished durable medical equipment (DME) for individuals with disabilities, ensuring devices are clean, detailed, safe and fully functional. They will help the DME Coordinator, to whom they report, maintain accurate inventory and clerical records. This role includes driving to Reuse partner locations for pick ups and deliveries as well as scheduling and completing customer pick-ups and deliveries. This role is perfect for a handy individual who is looking for part-time, weekday hours, enjoys driving and is excited to help improve the independence, safety, access, and quality of life of individuals with disabilities or seniors in western Massachusetts.

| Requirements: | Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move medical equipment as needed.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to follow written checklists, safety procedures, and equipment handling instructions.
- Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the DME Coordinator and program staff.
- Must have a valid unrestricted driver’s license, proof of insurance, and access to a private vehicle and clean driving record.
- Satisfactory CORI, SORI, DPPC and National Fingerprint Background Check
