Description: | Assistive Technology Regional Center (ATRC) Program Manager Schedule: Full Time 37.5 hours Location: Pittsfield, MA About the Role: The Assistive Technology Regional Center (ATRC) Program Manager leads a dynamic program dedicated to helping people with disabilities increase independence, safety, communication, access, participation, and overall quality of life through assistive technology. Funded through the Massachusetts Assistive Technology Act Program (ATAP) and MassAbility, this role combines program leadership, community outreach, technical assistance, and team supervision to expand access to life-changing technology and resources throughout the region. Key Responsibilities - Manage the day-to-day operations of the ATRC, including oversight of the 30-day Assistive Technology Loan Program, device inventory, loan tracking, documentation, and customer service.
- Provide consultative support and technical assistance to individuals with disabilities, families, caregivers, educators, employers, service providers, and community partners regarding assistive technology solutions, funding options, accessibility tools, and service navigation.
- Plan and deliver presentations, trainings, demonstrations, and outreach activities that promote awareness of assistive technology resources and services throughout the community.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with statewide assistive technology partners, referral sources, community organizations, and other Massachusetts ATRCs to strengthen access to assistive technology services.
- Supervise and support ATRC staff, including the ATRC Support Associate and ATRC Technician, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused team environment.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Assistive Technology to evaluate emerging technologies, recommend equipment purchases, and support strategic program development.
- Support remote monitoring and technology-based services by providing troubleshooting and technical support as needed.
- Maintain program data, reporting, performance metrics, and documentation to ensure compliance with contractual and grant requirements.
- Manage ATRC communications and social media platforms to promote events, resources, success stories, and new assistive technology innovations.
- Stay current on assistive technology trends, accessibility features, disability-related resources, and state and federal initiatives to ensure high-quality service delivery.

| Requirements: | Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have an associate degree and at least three years of experience working in the human services field and/or directly with adults and children with disabilities. Experience providing assistive technology services is preferred but not required. Successful candidates will have experience managing equipment inventory and can demonstrate knowledge of assistive technology devices, software, accessibility features, adaptive equipment, alternative access methods, and individualized training strategies. They will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to complete assessments, recommendations, documentation, trainings, and outreach materials. The ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, solve problems effectively, and manage multiple priorities while seeing projects through completion is essential.This role requires the ability to build collaborative relationships with individuals, families, caregivers, schools, providers, community partners, Assistive Technology Professionals, and statewide Assistive Technology Regional Centers. Candidates should also be comfortable providing technical assistance, troubleshooting equipment, managing loan center requests, maintaining accurate records, and meeting program documentation and reporting requirements. For the protection of our clients, a valid driver's license and successful completion of CORI, SORI, DPPC, and National Fingerprint background checks are required.
