Client Services Representative (Temporary Full-Time)

Pay: $19.77/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Location: Pittsfield, MA (On-Site)
Assignment: Temporary full-time position covering a leave of absence, anticipated to run from late August through March.

About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, organized Client Services Representative to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for clients, helping them schedule appointments, complete registration, verify insurance, and connect with the services they need.

Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and assist clients with scheduling appointments.
  • Register new clients and update demographic and insurance information.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations when needed.
  • Coordinate referrals to the appropriate programs or outside providers.
  • Manage provider schedules, reschedule missed appointments, and help fill open appointment times.
  • Contact clients with appointment reminders and follow up with waitlisted clients when openings become available.
  • Prepare client records before appointments and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all office policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least one year of customer service experience required.
  • Previous experience in healthcare scheduling, registration, medical office, or patient services is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and learning new computer systems.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain accuracy in a busy environment.
  • Professional, compassionate, and dependable.
