Description: | We are seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Front of House Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Services team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment while ensuring the buffet, servery, and pantry areas are fully stocked, sanitary, and ready for meal service. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to both patients and staff. Responsibilities: - Prepare the dining room for lunch service by ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and ready for guests.
- Sweep and mop dining room floors before and after meal service.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room throughout the shift.
- Oversee the buffet, servery, and pantry areas to ensure they remain clean, stocked, and organized.
- Refill food, beverages, condiments, utensils, and supplies as needed during meal service.
- Clean and sanitize buffet, servery, and pantry areas in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist with stocking inventory and maintaining adequate supplies.
- Follow all sanitation, infection control, and food safety guidelines.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with patients, visitors, and fellow staff members.
- Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure efficient meal service.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Lead Chef on Duty.

| Requirements: | - High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior waitstaff or professional front and back house kitchen experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and professional communication skills
- Ability to provide friendly, compassionate service to patients and staff
- Strong attention to detail with focus on cleanliness and overall presentation
- Willingness to work both as part of a small fast paced team, but also independently
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Ability to work in the evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
