Description:

Elder Services of Berkshire County, Inc. is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Nutrition Support Professional to support our Nutrition Program and help ensure older adults and individuals with disabilities receive reliable meal services.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide friendly and professional phone and office support to consumers, staff, drivers, and community partners.
  • Process Home Delivered Meals (HDM) enrollments, service changes, transfers, suspensions, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate consumer records, data entry, documentation, and program reports.
  • Coordinate daily meal route coverage and communicate schedule changes with drivers and staff.
  • Respond to emergency calls and consumer updates while following established protocols.
  • Coordinate monthly menu distribution and assist with office systems, supplies, and process improvements.
  • Provide backup and cross-coverage to keep program operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or at least two years of experience in consumer services, food service, or a related field.
  • Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle required.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
