Position Overview:
The North Berkshire School Union (Clarksburg, Florida, Rowe, Savoy, Monroe), serving students in PreK through Grade 8, is seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our student support services team for the 2026–2027 school year. This position plays a key role in promoting positive behavioral outcomes for students across our schools.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams to support student behavior in inclusive settings.
• Provide staff training and consultation on the implementation of evidence-based behavioral strategies.
• Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans based on data.
• Support IEP development and compliance for students requiring behavioral services.
• Assist in creating safe, supportive, and trauma-sensitive learning environments.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school-aged students.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with special education laws and best practices in inclusive education.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in school-based settings, particularly in Massachusetts public schools.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and culturally responsive behavioral supports.
• Ability to travel between schools within the NBSU region as needed.
