BFAIR is looking for a part-time Outreach Support Counselors for our Outreach program in Pittsfield. Applicant must be able to travel. Our Outreach Counselors provide a variety of supports and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in the community and to their family members. Provide guidance and training in developing skills needed to live independently. Ensure that people supported reside in a safe and healthy environment with proper access to medical and social supports. Have the ability to communicate effectively with staff, individuals and family members and/or guardians necessary. Respect for basic human rights and the dignity of each individual is paramount. Position is Tues.-Sat., day and evening hours. | |

All applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license with ready access to an automobile. Employees with 2 or more years working with individuals with developmental disabilities are preferred. Must meet standards outlined in Safe Driver Policy. | |
