Utilizing your strong knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Elements, you’ll assist in defining, reviewing and analyzing system requirements for enhancements/modifications for supportability by providing input to project/program plans and deliverables. Additionally, the Advanced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist will lead the review, development and modification of procedures and products for one or more ILS functions, while mentoring team members. Advanced ILS Specialist (Strategic Programs Training & Curriculum Development)

What you bring to the table:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Fully proficient knowledge of Acquisition Logistics (a multi-functional technical management discipline associated with influencing design for supportability and planning the support infrastructure for a system by focusing on the integrated logistics support (ILS) elements and working with and across all IPTs)
- Strong knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements (supply support; maintenance planning; manpower and personnel; technical manuals; training and training equipment; support equipment; facilities; computer resources support; packaging, handling, storage and transportation (PHS&T); design interface; reliability, maintainability and availability (RM&A), how they interact and how they are applied across a program, their effect on a system, plus how a systems’ design and changes affect the ILS elements)
- Knowledge of military/commercial requirements/specifications

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
- Conducts in-depth technical evaluations and analyses of system technical documentation to support Navy's Virtual Instructor Project (VIPr) development
- Assists in project/program tasks related to training, curricula development, and user documentation
- Provides training input/impacts to project/program plans and proposals
- Supports other disciplines for program/project resolutions/enhancements
- Participates in internal and external customer reviews
- Supports review, development and modification of curricula and user documentation
- Trains internal/external customers on operation, maintenance, and support of cognizant programs
- Supports internal audits/peer reviews and development and review of corrective action plans
- Coordinates workflow to meet program and customer delivery requirements
- May be required to travel (up to 20%)
- Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved in accordance with program plans and milestones
- Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard processes
- Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient knowledge of SSBN Fire Control System (FCS) requirements/specifications applicable to training
- Experienced professional with a full understanding of area of curricula development and implementation
- Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Proficient knowledge/experience in one or more of the elements of curriculum and documentation development Save

- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
PREFERRED DEGREE TYPES AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience Operating Navy's Virtual Instructor Project (VIPr)
- Navy Master Training Specialist
- TRIDENT Training Facility Instructor (Formal or Team Trainer)
- Experience with Navy Protection Systems
- Knowledge of curricula development best practices
- Experience in developing curriculum for the Navy
- Prefer Navy Rates (MT or ET)
- Military service may be valid substitute for degree requirement
