Company Description: Child Care of the Berkshires is a large not-for profit, early care and family support agency, operating a variety of programs throughout Berkshire County, including child care centers, a network of family child care homes, home visiting programs, parent child playgroups, parent education and skill building programs.
Its mission is to promote and strengthen families through the provision of high quality child care services to families whose parents are working or in training or, for any number of reasons, cannot adequately care for the children as well as other types of social and educational services which directly affect families and their well being.

School-Age Site Coordinator
$12.00 - $15.00 Per Hour

TITLE: School-Age Site Coordinator
Magic Seasons School Age Program, North Adams
HOURS: 23.3 hours per week: 7:30am - 9:00am and 2:30pm – 5:30pm (may be combined with another position) Full time when school is not in session
RESPONSIBILITIES: Function as the Site Coordinator/Teacher in a classroom of school-age children. Must be able to design and implement a creative, stimulating, developmentally appropriate curriculum; provide supervision and monitoring of health and safety needs; promote independence and creative thinking skills; and fulfill all other duties associated with being a member of a teaching team at the Center.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must meet Early Education & Care guidelines for School-age Site Coordinator and must be 21 years old. Must have either a Bachelor’s Degree & 6 months experience with school-age children or, an Associate Degree & 9 months experience with school-age children or a High School Diploma or equivalent with one year experience with school-age children.
