Berkshire County Arc is a non-profit, tax exempt, human services organization which offers a broad range of community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injuries and autism. Berkshire County Arc’s programs are located throughout Berkshire and Hampden Counties in Massachusetts.

Brain Injury Residential Support- Float
High School or Equivalent
Key job criteria/responsibilities/standards:
Perform direct care and training as defined by individual needs.
Implementation of Individual Service Plans including but not limited to behavior plans scripts and other individualize protocols.
Support and encourage individuals in meeting their rehabilitation goals.
Accompany and drive individuals by use of a private automobile to appointments, shopping, vacations, and other social events or necessary appointments as requested.
Attend assigned staff meetings, in service trainings, and other events; such as BI & SSCS and ABI trainings.
Certifications. Licenses, Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED and 18 years of age or older.
First Aid & CPR certification, and MAP certification.
Must complete a pre-employment physical exam and complete a T.B. screening on a semi-annual basis.
Valid driver’s license.
Minimum of one year experience in the field.
