Director of Employment Services
Seeking a top level administrator to oversee a well-established/successful Supported Employment Program over 100 individuals in employment and Community Based Day Services to assist individuals with disabilities to work and live in the Berkshires. Ability to form strong relationships with community businesses, employers and schools to develop employment opportunities and school-to-work opportunities for individuals with disabilities is key to success. Seeking a person with strong leadership, effective management, and community relations strengths, which includes good problem solving, creativity, and initiative. Excellent presentation and collaboration skills to represent the agency on the local and state levels with funders and statewide committees having to do with employment for individuals with disabilities is essential.
Master’s preferred. 5 years of experience in related field required. Experience operating supported employment and/or CBDS services preferred. Knowledge of Department of Developmental Services and Massachusetts Rehabilitation Regulations a plus.
