Hoosac Valley Regional School District 

Hoosac Valley Regional School District is comprised of an elementary, middle, and highschool serving families in Adams and Cheshire, Massachusetts.

• Paraprofessional - Elementary (Full-time)
• Paraprofessionals - Middle School (Full-time)

- Paraprofessionals provide assistance to teachers and other school personnel in the delivery of quality education and support services for students in an array of classroom settings. Examples of support services and educational settings include, but are not limited to: life skills, developmental classrooms, social, emotional, & behavioral support, visual or mobility orientation, language learning delays.

• Tutor (Part-time)

- Carries out all the responsibilities of an academic tutor and assists the student in the development of learning skills in a variety of academic areas as well as reinforces the student’s ability in necessary subject-specific basic skills; Observes, monitor and assess the student’s performance often and records data to track the performance;  Prepares instructional activities that aid in mastering specific academic skills, including subject matter content, state mandated and end of course assessments.  Assist student in setting and reaching individualized academic goals and operates as a mentor to the student in scholastic pursuits; enforces school/district policies and rules governing students as related to behavior management; Maintains confidentiality of student information as required by law and district policies; Communication required such as receiving instructions and collaborating with team members and building/school administration.

18 Degrees promotes the well-being and strengths of children, youth, and families to build better communities in Western Massachusetts. We provide education, parenting skills and support, prevention and intervention, advocacy, and life skills across a spectrum of programs serving children, young people, individuals and families in four areas: early education and care; foster care and adoption; child and family well-being; youth and community development.

• Lead Certified Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teachers (Full-time)

- $19.25 per hour

- $200 hiring bonus

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the plans and implement the daily program of development experiences for a group of young children; includes experience in a variety of activities and materials in areas such as art, music, literature, science and mathematics, etc.

- Work side by side with Parents/Guardians to promote the best understanding for growth and development of their child/children.

- Encourage participation in programs, be available for Parent/Guardians conferences, and attend parent groups, meetings and any other agency sponsored events.

• Classroom Liaison (Full-time)

- $24.88 per hour

Responsibilities:

- To help each child attain success in the classroom.

- Utilize the Second Step Curriculum to facilitate group activities for children in partnership with their classroom teacher to support social/ emotional growth and competency.

- Help teachers brainstorm ways to help children build on their regulation and coping skills.

- Act as a liaison between caregivers, child care staff and other supportive services.

- Work with Collaterals including pediatricians, school system resources, early intervention providers, etc.

Mount Greylock Regional School District 

Mount Greylock Regional School District includes Lanesborough and Williamstown representing a combined population of 11,000 residents. Our District is comprised of three schools: Lanesborough Elementary (PreK-6), Williamstown Elementary (PreK-6) and Mount Greylock Regional School (7-12). Total enrollment is approximately 1200 students. • Substitutes (Teachers, Paraprofessionals, Custodians, & Cafeteria) (On-call)

- Mount Greylock Regional School District is recruiting to expand our sub lists for all schools and for all position areas including teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, and cafeteria. 

Teacher/Para Substitutes receive: 

- $100 per day if they do not hold a college degree.

- $150 per day if they hold a college degree.

- $175 per day for DESE Certified / Retired Teachers.

Pine Cobble School

Pine Cobble School is a small all gender Beginners through Grade 8 independent school that embraces with open arms all races, ethnicities, and socioeconomic groups. The school’s goal is to offer academic skills and other learning opportunities in a supportive, community based atmosphere that allows our students to learn, explore, and thrive.

• After School Kids (ASK) Staff (Part-time)

- $17 per hour

- Flexible 12.5 hours a week, 40 hours a week on school vacation.

Responsibilities:

- Engage with children and participate in daily activities

- Supervise children at all time and update attendance as children arrive and depart

- Ensure a positive learning environment

- Possess a caring personality

North Berkshire School Union

North Berkshire School Union comprises Clarksburg Elementary, Rowe Elementary, Emma L. Miller Elementary, and Abbott Memorial. 

• Substitute Teaching Assistant (Full-time)

Responsibilities:

- Assist the classroom teacher with small group instruction.

- Lead whole-class instruction as needed.

• One-on-one Aid (Full-time)

Responsibilities:

- Assist student with curriculum, navigating the school and interactions with peers.

North Adams Public Schools

North Adams Public Schools comprises Brayton Elementary, Colegrove Park Elementary, and Drury High School.
